Hugh Bridges

Mr. Hugh Bridges, age 79 of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Mr. Bridges was born on May 7, 1933 in Cedartown, GA, the son of the late James Oscar Bridges and Ozella Davis Bridges. He was the owner of Bridges Roofing and Construction for over forty years. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife; Grace Cook Bridges and a sister; Ruby B. Hayes.

Hugh Bridges is survived by his son; Steve Bridges, Someone special like a son; Brad Shelton, his daughters and sons in law; Karen & Duane Hindman, Jan & William Wright, Amy & Lee Williams, his grandchildren and great grandchildren; (April) Scott & Nick, (Stephanie) Jody & London, (Trey) Jessica, Braydon & Eva, (Jana) Travis, Keesley & Jacob, (Jonsie) & Daniel, (Justin) Amanda, Grayson & Tucker, (Hannah) Brian, Taylor & Tyler, (Ryan) Heather, Rylynn & Allison, Chaz & Braden, his sister; Evelyn Freeman. A number of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Hugh Bridges will be conducted on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Joel A. Smith officiating and Mr. William Wright and Mr. Trey Wright speaking. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Lester Litesey Funeral Home.

The following will serve as Pallbearers: Duane Hindman, Lee Williams, William Wright, Justin Williams, Brian Johnson, Scott Williams, and Nick Hughes. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ryan Bridges, Daniel Rivera, David Shelton, Trey Wright, Jody Tidwell, Robert New, Timmy Ledbetter, Bennie Hindman and the staff members and special friends of Winthrop at Polk.

Pops is physically a part of our past, his memory is a part of our present, and his spirit will always be a part of our future.
